About Buraaq
Some places are remembered by what you see. Some are remembered by what you smell. Buraaq was born from a simple thought, that fragrance can hold memories.
The scent of an old room. The air of a crowded mehfil. A journey through familiar streets. The warmth of a gathering with people you love. The pages of an old book, the sound of a distant qawwali, the evenings that somehow felt longer than they do today. We wanted to create fragrances that carry that feeling.
Buraaq is a Pakistani fragrance house inspired by the culture, stories, and nostalgia that make our home unique. We look at the beauty around us, not only in grand monuments or celebrated traditions, but in the small, ordinary moments that quietly become a part of who we are.
Our fragrances are named after words that have lived in our language for generations. Words that don’t simply translate; they evoke something. A story. A gathering. A journey. A feeling of peace. Every fragrance begins with that emotion.
We believe perfume should be more than something you wear. It should become part of your presence. Something that reminds you of a place, a person, a moment, or perhaps a version of yourself.
That is why Buraaq is not built around following what is already familiar. We are building a world of our own, one where contemporary perfumery meets the soul of Pakistan.
Our visual language takes inspiration from the things we grew up seeing: old photographs, handwritten letters, vintage signboards, Pakistani art, traditional patterns, forgotten streets and the quiet charm of another time. We reinterpret these influences through a modern, minimal lens, creating something that feels both familiar and new. From the bottle in your hand to the words printed on the box, every detail is intentional. We are starting small, but our vision is much bigger. Buraaq is our attempt to put a piece of Pakistan into a bottle, through stories, emotions and details that feel genuine to us. And as we grow, we hope to keep discovering more of them. Because at the end of the day, a fragrance fades from the air, but the memory it leaves behind can stay for years.
This is Buraaq.
Fragrance, with a story to tell.
